Tun Sri Lanang (1565-1659) and His Contributions in Aceh

Many authors have written about Tun Sri Lanang as a Prime Minister duringthe oldJohor Sultanate and his monumental book, Sulalah al-Salatin. However, people lack informations Lanang's contribution during life in Aceh. Thus, this study aims to identify Seri the Acehnese at that time. In study, researchers used qualitative method. Data is analyzed using content analysis methods from interviews sources books, documents journals. The finding shows contributed greatly community leader, scholar, writer, advisor sultan/ sultanah of Aceh left honorable offsprings. hope can further enrich literature traditional Malay muslim figures especially 17th century. Furthermore, documentation old hero local wisdom should be intensify reference for future generations.
